Central Corridor Heathen Celerations Ostara
Ostara in Wister, Oklahoma! Our kindred has been going to this gathering since it's second year. Great people, great times.

Every year in September the Asatru Alliance holds its annual Althing. The Alliance likes to hold the Althing at different locations, but if no Alliance kindred offers to host then the default location is Arizona.
Please understand that if you wish to attend the Asatru Alliance Althing you need to request permission from Valgard Murray or come with an Alliance Kindred who will vouch for you. Getting permission from Valgard requires that you contact him and ask, and we have never seen anyone refused. This year Althing will be held in Washington State at Beacon Rock State Park. Ravens Over the Rockies
Our local regional gathering in Colorado. This is the second year that Ravens has been held. This is a camping event in June in the mountains of Colorado, so dress warmly. Kindred Events
Study Group
Study Group is held every Saturday from 2:00 PM to about 4:00 PM. Our kindred is now finished studying Culture of the Teutons one chapter a week. We are now going to be studying the Road to Hel, found below. 8/27 - Introduction & Chapter 1: Funeral Customs: The Evidence of Archeology 9/3 - Chapter 2: Funeral Customs: The Evidence of Literature 9/10 - Chapter 3: The Conception of the Future Life 9/17 - Chapter 4: The Cult of the Dead 10/1 - Chapter 5: The Conception of the Soul 10/8 - Chapter 6: Necromancy 10/15 - Chapter 7: The Journey to the Land of the Dead & Conclusion Our Kindred has decided to take a break from Culture of the Teutons and read Volume two at a later date. The next book that we are going to study is The Road To Hel: A Study of the Conception of the Dead in Old Norse Literature by Hilda Roderick Ellis M.A., Ph.D. Published 1968.
